New York hardcore is one of the most iconic underground music scenes in North America. To help cement this reputation, the Albany, NY-based band Concrete is going to release a brand new full-length album Free Us From Existence today, and it’s very promising for hardcore fans.

Although the themes are dark and negative, the music is explosive and filled with excitement, making a clear contrast in Free Us from Existence. Furthermore, the album unites different genres with the speed of thrash, the energy of groove metal, and the dark, brutal atmosphere of black metal.

Credit goes out to the band members—they all do an awesome job on this album, with fast and groovy beats, growling vocals, and speedy guitar riffs.

Overall, Free Us From Existence is one of the most promising and exciting hardcore releases this year.
