In order for a musician to create a great travel album, he must first write inspiring music that above all else represents the country and history the particular music is trying to showcase. By accurately representing the history of the places he explores in the songs, Eric Alexandrakis has created a musical experience that veers far from expectations, with great results.
A fine example of how this album succeeds in its mission is the track “The Mighty Terran Empire.” By using different influences that inspired him to create his music, Alexandrakis has created a shocking—in a good way—album here, this massive, 28-track digital-only release showcasing the rich histories of various locales that are deeply interconnected with the foundation of our great country and beyond.
