After the massiveShrines of Paralysis(2016), the New Zealand-based extreme metal band Ulcerate won’t keep fans waiting any longer by releasing their sixth full-length album, Stare Into Death and Be Still, on April 24.
With the balance between heavy and melodic, Stare Into Death and Be Still is an excellent album that combines elements of brutality and melody. The performance of the band members is what makes this album successful. Using growling vocals, blasting drum beats, extreme guitar riffs, and surprising melody, Stare Into Death and Be Still is proof that Ulcerate is a fearsome force to be reckoned with in the modern metal scene.
Although the outbreak of COVID-19 has cancelled many musical events, Stare Into Death and Be Still will keep metal fans rocking at home during this pandemic. This is an album that can’t be missed this season.
