Logan Ledger released his debut EP, I Don’t Dream Anymore, in October of last year. Now he is back with his self-titled debut album, which came out on April 3. Logan Ledger features nine new tracks and two from his EP.
Ledger’s music takes inspiration from traditional folk and country music—both genres that were prominent during his childhood. This album beautifully fuses and modernizes both genres while staying true to the classic genres.
As modern country music tends to bring in a smaller audience compared to more mainstream genres, Ledger has effectively brought back the folk-country fusion that we all admire one way or another. Ledger’s soulful and melancholic style is sure to bring in some new listeners and restore faith in diehard old-school country fans.
