The provincial government announced today that it will invest $3.5 million in emergency financial assistance for post-secondary students.

The money will be accessible to students attending one of the 25 public post-secondary institutions in BC, which includes Camosun College. The one-time funding is for domestic students who are experiencing financial emergencies due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Students can access the funding through Camosun’s Financial Aid office. The college will decide on the amount a student receives depending on their needs.
