Dance Days/Night Moves
Dance Victoria invites everyone to dance in their festival: in the classes, that is. If you’d rather watch, then leave the performance to the professionals. Both performances and classes come in a variety of styles for any taste. Beginner to advanced classes cover all the bases. Find the schedule at dancevictoria.com/calendar.

Address to the haggis
A Burns supper is a yearly tradition on Robert Burns Day, and wouldn’t be complete without the haggis, or Burns’ poem about haggis. “Great chieftain o the puddin’-race!” it starts, and gets only more affectionate from there. Craigdarroch Castle is hosting this event; more information at thecastle.ca.
January 25–26
Health is not just for nuts

There will be a variety of seminars and vendors providing information and products to help people live well. The newest trends might also pique some curiosity and inspire you to keep New Year’s resolutions (hey, remember those?). Events and vendors are listed at thehealthshows.com.

Classics like you probably haven’t seen before
