Victoria Whiskey Festival preview
Neat or on the rocks? A special preview night of the upcoming annual Victoria Whiskey Festival is only $20 at the Pacific Lounge Restaurant. Each attendee will receive no less than four tasting pours of featured beverages, as well as a tasting plate with paired items. Sounds delicious. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the restaurant at 250–380–4478. Tickets may be available at the door, but purchasing them in advance is highly recommended.

Campus-wide info session
A Camosun College info session at both campuses to provide students with all the information they need to know about over 100 programs at the college. Program instructors will be on hand to answer questions and explain what courses are available, what prerequisites would be required, costs, and what kind of career opportunities that will be available. These highly informative sessions run from 6 pm to 8 pm and take place at both campuses simultaneously. Still have questions? Yeesh. Cougar Annie Tales
The early 1900s is the setting. The subject: Cougar Annie, the legendary west-coast settler who outlived four husbands, raised 11 children, and shot, killed, and trapped more than 70 cougars. Singer/songwriter Kat Kadoski brings Cougar Annie to life for this performance, mixing stories, images, letters, and original music to try to bring the legendary pioneer/settler to life. Cougar Annie Tales is being presented as a development workshop performance on Saturday, January 21 at 8 pm at Intrepid Theatre Club.
